I'm Rex

...and I'm looking for a dog-experienced, consistent home.

Would you like to know more about me?

I'm a clever, eager-to-please dog with lots of energy. I'm initially wary of strangers – I need time and several walks together to build trust. If I feel threatened, I can snap; therefore, a muzzle is part of my routine and I wear it reliably.

I'm house-trained, know basic commands, and travel calmly in the car. I can't be left alone at the moment: I bark and experience significant separation anxiety. Training, clear routines, and mental and physical stimulation (dog school/dog sports would be great) are very beneficial for me. I'd probably be happiest as the only pet; A confident, suitable female dog would be a possibility after we get to know each other.

I wish for… a child-free home with many experienced dog owners – ideally experienced in living with demanding dogs. My humans should consistently implement muzzle and safety management with me, train fairly and without force, and gradually rebuild my ability to be left alone. Then you will have an honest, eager-to-learn partner who enjoys working together and wants to please.

Is there a great home for me?
