Felicity – a cautious soul seeks a place to arrive

Felicity is not a cat who sneaks her way into your heart – she simply sits quietly and waits. For what exactly, we don't know. Perhaps for safety. Perhaps for someone who sees her as she is – even if she hardly ever shows herself.

The approximately 2.5-year-old cat came to us together with Watson the tomcat via another animal welfare organization. Both previously lived as free-roaming cats without close contact with humans. This time has left its mark: Felicity is extremely shy, doesn't like to be touched, hides most of the time, and approaches people with great distrust. Her past remains her secret – but her behavior speaks volumes. One distinctive feature: Felicity is missing her tail. We don't know how this happened. Even though she lacks the balance organ, she copes well.

For Felicity, we are looking for a calm, understanding home with people who expect nothing but give everything: time, patience, consideration – and the willingness to love even a cat who doesn't (yet) allow herself to be petted. Whether she will ever thaw out, open up, allow closeness – no one can promise that. But she deserves the chance to maybe try it someday.

A safe haven, no hustle and bustle, no children, no noisy environment – but preferably a nice, social feline companion or even a home together with Watson. A secure balcony where she can observe the world from afar would also be wonderful.

Felicity isn't looking for a home that will change her – but one that will let her be who she is.
