I'm Mia

...and I need very special people who will guide me with lots of patience and sensitivity. I'm an insecure cat, initially reserved and, unfortunately, also ambivalent. But whoever understands me and gives me time can gain my trust.

Would you like to know more about me?

I'm rather cautious, anxious, and easily startled. I need people with cat experience who can read my signals and won't pressure me. I'm self-confident and have a mind of my own. Freedom is important to me, and I don't want to be pressured. I'm a cat who wants to make her own decisions.

I wish for... a quiet, cat-experienced home with outdoor access, where I can settle in at my own pace. My humans should be able to spend a lot of time with me so we can build trust and a close bond. I want to live as the only cat in the household; there shouldn't be any small children in my new home. I'd like a large, stimulating apartment and plenty of activities to keep me busy. I will receive free, lifelong treatment for hip dysplasia at the shelter's veterinary clinic. Do you have the patience and understanding for a cat like me? I'm looking forward to meeting people who will accept me as I am and give me the chance for a safe, loving home.
