In our animal shelter, alongside the typical pets, you'll also find a number of pigeons. Whether found injured, arriving as a fledgling, or flying in from the surrounding area, all of them find a roof over their heads with us. Some more unusual pigeons have also found their way to us. From homing pigeons to various fancy pigeons and more common city pigeons, we have a wide variety of doves. Here they are provided with species-appropriate food and fresh water, have places to retreat to, and always open "pigeon flaps" for permanent free flight – a luxury compared to the ordinary life of a city pigeon. These animals also deserve a species-appropriate life with care and feeding. Should you have any interest in or questions about our feathered residents, please feel free to contact us, ideally with photos of their future living situation.
