I'm Mallow

—those who love me also like to call me Marshmallow. I wonder if someone will fall in love with me and give me a home?

This is me:

I love people, I like to cuddle, and I'm easily motivated with food. Right now, I'm still quite excitable and restless—but that will definitely improve with love and a great home.

I'd say I'm a diamond in the rough—my animal caretakers would say I'm still a bit untrained. I tend to jump up with excitement, pull on the leash, and bark a lot when I meet other dogs—so I need clear leadership, training, and consistent routines. Hunting games and games that get me excited aren't for me, but I love working for treats. I'm house-trained, know basic commands, and am very affectionate.

I look a bit worse for wear at the moment because I had a few growths/tumors removed at the animal shelter – but they were all benign! And once my fur has grown back, I'll look much better.

I'm looking for active, loving people – even enthusiastic beginners would be welcome – preferably on the outskirts of a city or in the countryside. Children from about 8 years old would be a good fit, provided they are experienced with dogs and steady on their feet. I would prefer to be the only pet; however, with a confident male dog, it's possible to try it with proper guidance.
