We are two Bengal duos
, each looking for a wonderful home where we can let loose and have lots of energy.
This is us:
Unfortunately, we had a sad start in life: We were born in the shelter after several adult Bengals, including our pregnant mothers, were found abandoned. We were born safely at the shelter and were able to spend our first weeks of life there.
Cobold (light brown) and Chips (dark brown) are brothers, while Aslan (silver) and Bacon (snow) come from different mothers and were introduced to each other. It's all the more wonderful to see how well we already get along! We've settled in nicely and are now ready to move to a new home together.
Bengals are extraordinary cats: intelligent, spirited, curious, and active. They don't just want to look beautiful, but also be physically and mentally stimulated. Therefore, we are looking for a home for each pair of Bengals that is experienced with them and truly meets their special needs. Unfortunately, an infection with Tritrichomonas foetus was detected in the abandoned group. This pathogen can cause a contagious intestinal disease and, especially in cats kept in groups, lead to persistent diarrhea. Therefore, the two cats will only be placed in a home without other cats to avoid the risk of transmission to other cats. Interested parties must therefore be aware of this specific health issue and be prepared to responsibly manage further veterinary care and any necessary treatments. Our care team will, of course, provide information about the current health status and the cat's history during a personal adoption interview. The following are important to us: 🐾 Adoption only in pairs: Cobold and Chips belong together, and Aslan and Bacon have already become good friends and should now continue their lives together. 🐾 Breed knowledge and experience: Anyone considering a Bengal should familiarize themselves with the characteristics, needs, and special features of this breed beforehand. They are not cats that are satisfied with just a little food and a comfortable place to sleep. 🐾 Plenty of exercise and activity: Climbing opportunities (at least two species-appropriate scratching posts), a variety of toys, puzzle toys, and enough space to run and play are essential. Therefore, the apartment for these special cats should be no smaller than 80 square meters and equipped with catwalks to offer us the necessary three-dimensional space to move around and optimally satisfy our strong territorial instincts. A cat exercise wheel: The purchase of a suitable cat exercise wheel (at least 1.20m in diameter) is a condition of adoption. It offers us active boys an additional way to satisfy our great urge to move. Supervised outdoor access: A secure garden or a sufficiently large, cat-friendly outdoor enclosure would be ideal. Unsupervised outdoor access is out of the question. An ordinary backyard is no substitute for a secure outdoor area.
🐾 Time, patience, and understanding: We are looking for people who will dedicate themselves to these two cats daily, take their needs seriously, and give them the time they need to settle in.
Who will give us special cats a chance? We are looking for people who are not only captivated by the beauty of this fascinating breed but also appreciate their demanding, active, sometimes vocal, and independent nature.
