Blacky

Hello, I'm Blacky… a young, lively German Shepherd mix with lots of energy and a big heart! I'm looking for experienced people to give me a loving home. Want to know more about me? I'm an eager-to-learn and affectionate dog who loves to cuddle with his people. At the same time, I also need my space and don't like to be crowded. At the shelter, I'm not so friendly with other dogs at first, but the environment is different there, of course. Besides, I'm still young and can definitely learn a lot more.

I already know some basic commands and love working with my people – typical German Shepherd!

Unfortunately, I have hip dysplasia (HD), so my new family should be careful not to overexert me. Stairs aren't ideal for me, but I absolutely love swimming!

I'm looking for a family experienced with dogs – maybe even German Shepherds – who understands my needs and is willing to continue working with me, because I still need a bit of training. And I'm looking forward to mental stimulation. Love combined with good training – that would be the perfect combination for me. Any children in the household should be teenagers (14 years and older).
