Benny

Our Benny came to the shelter because he didn't get along with the other dog in his home and ultimately snapped aggressively at his owner. Unfortunately, this wasn't his first home, as he'd had several previous owners.

Benny is house-trained and knows basic commands and is used to traveling in cars, buses, and trains. Due to his past, Benny must wear a muzzle when out for walks. On a leash, he tends to be aggressive towards other dogs and chases them. Benny is sensitive and prone to displacement behaviors when stressed. He also can't be left alone yet and tends to be possessive of his resources.

Since Benny wasn't well-trained in his previous homes, attending dog training classes would be fantastic so he can finally be the dog he's meant to be. We're looking for a quiet home for Benny with experienced dog owners; ideally, a house with a fenced garden. There should be no children in the household.
