We firmly believe that every animal deserves a second chance. With great dedication and heart, we work to give animals in need a better life. Whether through animal adoption, our animal boarding facility, or your valuable support – together we can make a difference. The Burg and Surrounding Area Animal Welfare Association (Tierschutzverein Burg und Umgebung e.V.) looks back on a long history. Founded in 1990, we have operated our own animal shelter since 1998 – initially in Blumenthal and since 2001 in Schartau.
