Graf came to us after being seized for violating animal welfare laws. He now walks quite well on a leash and is easily trained with treats. He is used to wearing a muzzle and will need it in future situations that he finds challenging. Graf has difficulty coping with stress and tends to react with displacement behaviors or aggression, so he can only be placed with experienced dog owners. Although he is used to walking in a group of dogs, he will only be placed in a home as an only dog. Unfortunately, he doesn't like strange dogs at all, but can be walked past them if a safe distance is maintained. He also knows basic commands. We are looking for experienced dog owners for Graf, especially those familiar with his breed. Children and other animals should not live in the household. He is also not suitable for city living; a quiet, rural area would be ideal. Due to his breed, landlord permission is required in many places, and muzzles and leashes are mandatory in public. Hunting imitation games should not be played with him. Please note that several visits to the animal shelter are necessary for Graf's rehoming. We look forward to your inquiry!
