Rubble is currently in foster care.
Rubble originally came to us at Sonnenhof when he was about three weeks old, together with his mother Pauline and his five siblings. He has already experienced quite a lot. After a short stay in a new home with a foster family, he seriously injured his leg and had to undergo several operations.
Today, Rubble has thankfully recovered very well from his injury. His leg doesn't cause him any major problems in everyday life, and he enjoys being out and about again. Occasional massages can help him, which his future owners would, of course, be shown. Rubble doesn't let his eventful past hold him back, however, and enjoys life to the fullest. Rubble is a bright, curious, and playful young dog. He is initially a little cautious around strangers but usually warms up very quickly. If you give him a brief moment to get to know someone, he will soon enjoy being petted and the attention. Once he trusts you, he proves to be a very open, affectionate, and people-oriented companion. A collar, harness, and walks have long been part of his daily routine. Rubble walks well on a leash and gets along well with other dogs. He has also already learned to be alone for a certain amount of time. In a suitable environment, he can easily stay alone for about an hour; with proper acclimatization and the right conditions, up to four hours are also possible. We wish for Rubble to find loving people who will give him a stable home and continue to support him on his journey. With his friendly, eager-to-learn nature and his great zest for life, he will bring his people much joy and be a loyal companion in everyday life. Rubble has already overcome several challenges in his young life and now finally wishes for a home where he can settle permanently and be loved just as he is. The adoption process for one of our dogs usually proceeds as follows: At least three visits to Sonnenhof are planned. These visits are very important to us, because during this time you can get to know your potential new companion, and he can get to know you. Before the dog can finally move in with you, we will conduct a home visit.
