Sometimes life doesn't go as planned. I was surrendered to my animal shelter because my previous owners couldn't handle me anymore.

But I'm actually a friendly, confident dog. I am happy around people I can trust, and when I have taken someone into my heart, I like to be by their side. Unfortunately, some things went wrong in my past. I was trained incorrectly. Instead of giving me security and guidance, behaviors were encouraged that make my life difficult today. For example, I don't like it when I don't know someone and am immediately pressured. In those situations, I might even take the initiative. If I'm allowed to make contact at my own pace, everything is fine.

The good news is: We're working intensively on this with me now. I'm used to wearing a muzzle and I cope with it very well. This allows my people to train with me in a relaxed and safe environment while I learn to handle difficult situations differently.

I'm not a hopeless case. I am a dog who has never had the chance to learn in a way that is understandable and fair. Therefore, I wish for experienced dog owners who enjoy working with me. People who give me clear rules, are lovingly consistent, and understand that I am not responsible for my past. I need someone who gives me security and guides me fairly – not someone who puts pressure on me. I am already familiar with living with other dogs. Whether I would be a good fit for an existing dog, we can gladly find out during a meeting. However, I think I would prefer to be the only dog ​​in the household. Small animals should not live in my new home. Children should also not be part of my future home. I probably won't be the kind of dog that goes along everywhere without any problems overnight. But if you are ready to invest time, patience, and heart in me, you will get a loyal companion who finally deserves the chance to show who she really is.**Your Haribo** 🐾________

An expert opinion (breed assessment) was carried out, after which Haribo was classified as a mixed breed. She is not a listed breed. It is suspected that breeds such as Pinscher, Boxer, and Eastern European hunting dog breeds are present in her.
