I'm Lotte

—a Kangal lady with a big head and an even bigger heart, looking for an experienced home.

Would you like to know more about me?

I was previously adopted but unfortunately returned due to aggression issues. Generally, I'm lively, good-natured, and alert, but also very skittish and anxious. I'm suspicious of strangers, and on walks, I react defensively—especially to men, joggers, and bicycles. I don't like cats or birds at all.

I'm intelligent, know basic commands, can open doors, and, um, jump over fences. I'm house-trained, and I can be left alone for a few hours.

My insecurity can manifest as fear and territorial aggression. I thrive with clear, fair leadership – I need people who are neither overly affectionate nor rough, but calm, consistent, and reliable. A confident, well-matched resident dog can work, depending on compatibility. There should be no children in the household. A good dog training school and structured training would be beneficial for me. I wish for a quiet home on the outskirts of a city or in the countryside, with a securely fenced garden, high, sturdy fences, and well-secured doors – because I am really clever and resourceful. My future family should be experienced with dogs, willing to work with me, and safely accompany me on outings. Please plan for several visits so we can get to know each other properly. Could this be a good match for us?
