Jara, female dog
Breed: Mixed breed

Shoulder height: approx. 50 cm / 19 kg
Sex: female
Jara came to our animal shelter along with 12 other dogs as part of an official seizure. Some time after her arrival, it turned out that she was pregnant. A little later, she gave birth to seven puppies, whom she raised with love and care. Her puppies are now old enough to go their own way. Now we hope that Jara will also have the chance of a home of her own where she can find peace and gain confidence. Jara is a very cautious and insecure dog. She initially approaches people with great distrust and prefers to observe new situations from a safe distance. She knows little about life outside her familiar surroundings, so many everyday things are still unfamiliar and frightening to her. Nevertheless, Jara is gradually showing small improvements. With patience, calmness, and understanding, she is slowly beginning to engage with her environment. For her further development, she needs people who don't expect a quick approach but give her the time she needs. Jara gets along very well with other dogs. A confident resident dog could provide her with orientation in her new home and help her gain more security in everyday life. We are looking for a calm home for Jara with empathetic people who will show her that she no longer needs to be afraid of the world. Anyone who is willing to walk this path with her step by step will be able to witness how a fearful dog slowly becomes a loyal companion. Our dogs are dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped before being rehomed.
