Condition: Sammy is currently subject to a mandatory leash and muzzle requirement because he has been deemed dangerous according to the Dog Regulations. Furthermore, the new owner must have proof of competency. Sammy came to us on a mandatory leash and muzzle requirement because his previous owners repeatedly failed to comply with his requirements. This is a real shame, as Sammy is a very sweet, affectionate dog, making it a bit more difficult to adopt him. He has already successfully completed a temperament test, but the new owner will have to repeat it. Sammy is very docile and has good obedience. He walks very well on a leash, but often seems very lazy, as he doesn't particularly enjoy long walks and likes to waste time. He is still unsure of other dogs, but this doesn't pose any problems when going for walks. Sammy is very alert, good-natured, and house-trained. He is used to driving in the car and being left alone for a few hours. However, he's happiest when he's just allowed to be there. Small, dynamic things, however, fall under his prey category. Therefore, small animals and cats should not be present in the new home. He has also been reported to be problematic around toddlers, children, and people in uniform. Meeting or going for walks is only possible after passing a certificate of competence.
