... and I was rescued for animal welfare reasons. I'm a clever, confident dog looking for a home with someone experienced with my breed.

I'm lively and spirited, but quite wary of strangers. I protect what's mine and am territorial. I also make it very clear at the vet what I don't want.

I'm friendly with people I know. I can be walked calmly past other dogs, but I still want to live as the only princess.

Of course, I'm house-trained. We'll have to test whether I can be left alone sometimes and, if necessary, practice patiently together.

I have a food allergy… My animal caretakers will be happy to advise you on this.

I'm looking for…an experienced, child-free home that provides consistent structure and can handle my behavior well. It should be in a quiet, rural location or on the outskirts of a city. Please plan several visits to the shelter to get to know me.
