🐾 Hello, I'm Piggy – a dog in her prime looking for her forever home 🐾

Okay, let's start with the truth: I might not be the prettiest dog around. My coat isn't perfect, my figure is more slouchy than athletic, and at first glance, I probably wouldn't fall into the "Wow!" category. But – and I say this with my head held high – I have my own unique charm. 💚

When I was found in Romania, I was in terrible condition. Just skin and bones, injured in my hind leg – the bone was even sticking out. I was probably hit by a car and then simply left there. Luckily, my foster carer found me, rescued me, and nursed me back to health. Without her, I wouldn't be here today.

I'm physically fit again now – maybe even a little bit too plump... 😉

That's due to my hypothyroidism, which was only diagnosed in Germany. I get a pill twice a day, and since then I've been feeling really good! My vet says you should have regular checkups (every few months or so) to make sure the medication is still working well – but that's really easy to manage.

I'm currently living in a foster home in the countryside – and it's just perfect for me! Lots of space, lots of greenery, and when the sun is shining, I love lying outside and enjoying life. A home with a fenced garden or yard would be an absolute dream come true.

I'm very careful when someone approaches the property – after all, it's my little kingdom! But don't worry: I come when called without any problems and am friendly to everyone. I'll just give you a quick heads-up that visitors are coming – as a proper farm dog should.

I get along well with other dogs, but I'm a confident lady and don't necessarily need a four-legged companion by my side. My humans are much more important to me. I'm not a clingy dog ​​who constantly wants to be petted, but I love being included – whether it's for coffee, walks, or just a cozy get-together.

Even though I love life outdoors, I absolutely need a warm bed. I get cold easily in winter, so I have a smart little jacket to keep me warm. I know not every dog ​​is into fashion – but I wear it with pride! 😄

I wish for a quiet home in a rural setting, away from city noise, but with love, patience, and a soft place for me – both indoors and out.
