I'm Bruce

I was found tied up and now I'm hoping for a wonderful, experienced home that will love me forever.

This is me:

At first, I'm quite shy around strangers and am only affectionate with people I know. But once you've won my heart, I'll trust you completely. I'm alert and eager to learn, but I also like to defend my people – this is where you come in and show me that I don't have to take on this role.

I still act quite playful on the leash. Hunting games aren't really for me. And my house training hasn't really been tested here yet – we'll have to see how that goes in my new home. But I'm sure I can learn that too if necessary.

I also have allergies, but my care team will be happy to advise you on that.

I'm looking for a home with other dogs, ideally experienced with my breed, in a rather quiet environment. There shouldn't be any children in the household. Due to my breed, I'm required to wear a muzzle and be kept on a leash – as you can see in the photo, I wear my muzzle calmly. Several visits to the shelter will be necessary to get to know each other – but it will definitely be worth it!
