The two beauties Lucy and Olja look almost like twins, but came to us separately as injured stray animals. Now, after a successful recovery, they can move into their new home together.
As the black messenger of good luck, Olja had a slightly less tragic story and "only" a fracture of the right shinbone, which we luckily managed to fix without surgery. The time of resting in the box and sitting still was difficult and stressful for the little adventurer. Lucy, on the other hand, had to struggle a little more with the dark side of the force and came to us with multiple fractures of the pelvis, which required surgery. Lucy is also a lucky child and so we were able to save the leg that was almost thought to be lost with physiotherapy. Unfortunately, her pelvis healed in a wrong position and she also has slight neurological deficits in one hind leg.
But none of this should distract from the fact that Lucy and Olja are still very young and love to romp, cuddle and wrestle with each other to get rid of all the pent-up energy that is waiting in their little bottoms. Chaotic and whirlwind combined, the two definitely bring a lot of fun and action to their new kingdom.
The little active dream team wants an adventurous and cat-friendly home of at least 80 square meters; several scratching and climbing opportunities will help them to avoid boredom and curb their high spirits. In addition, they would like the opportunity to enjoy outdoor access in a safe environment far away from roads, rails and other dangers after they have sufficiently settled in. The two are a bit too rough for small children, and you should also pay a little attention to Lucy's hind leg. They would be suitable for older children. In the end, however, it is always a question of mutual sympathy. Lucy will receive free treatment for her pelvic fracture in our veterinary practice for the rest of her life.
