Camielo

The handsome, almost 5-year-old Giant Schnauzer "Camielo" is looking for a new home because his current owners can no longer care for him properly due to health reasons. He is 64 cm tall and weighs 35 kg.

Behavior towards people:

With his caregivers, he is very open, affectionate, and sometimes a bit boisterous. When visitors arrive, he voluntarily goes into his crate; he greets strangers with skepticism or even disinterest. His behavior towards other dogs: It depends on whether he likes them. He only had contact with other dogs off-leash until he was two years old. Other animals/hunting instinct: Neighborhood cats are not his friends. Basic obedience/leash manners: He knows the usual commands, but there's certainly room for improvement. Also on a leash Coexistence should be practiced, especially when cyclists appear on the horizon.

Being alone

When his owners leave the house (4-5 hours), he lies down in his crate and remains quiet.

Car rides

When going on vacation, he always comes along and is a quiet passenger in his transport crate.

So far, he has had a large garden at his free disposal. He would certainly enjoy new tasks and search games.

Health and Care:

Camielo knows the dog groomer. At home, he is motivated with treats and then tolerates the grooming.

We wish for active people who ideally have already lived with Giant Schnauzers.

Those who see it as their task to teach this magnificent giant a few things. Small children should not be in the new home. Camielo would surely accept a garden as his oasis of well-being.
