SOS Forgotten Paws Animal Welfare Association
Hello everyone! I'm Latino (in my current home I'm called Mogli)! A bright, handsome black male dog! I was born in April 2025, so I'm a young fellow and, at about 47 cm tall at the shoulder, wonderfully manageable. I'm an attentive companion who responds very well to his name and bonds closely with his people. I am already house-trained and reliably let my family know when I need to go outside. I travel in the trunk of the car without any problems and it's very relaxed for me. When we go for walks, for example in the woods, I happily walk off-leash because I have excellent recall! I do have a bit of a prey drive, but because I'm so focused on my people, I'm easy to handle even in those moments. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and I'm also very familiar with cats from my home. However, I also have a few special needs that my new home should definitely take into account: Since I'm quite vocal and bark a lot, I'm not suited to a rented apartment or a terraced house. A detached house or a house of my own with a garden would be ideal for me. Furthermore, I currently find it difficult to be left alone. Therefore, I'm looking for people who have time for me at the beginning and can be there to help me gradually and without pressure get used to being alone. It's important to know that my barking and being left alone require consistent, patient, and loving guidance, because deep down in my heart is a truly sweet dog who longs to be fully revealed with the right guidance. Children shouldn't live in my new home, as I tend to get overwhelmed in hectic situations and snap at children. I'm looking for a calm, child-free environment with experienced dog owners who can provide me with security and are willing to work with me on these issues. Since my stomach is a bit sensitive, I get delicious sensitive food, which is very good for me. Please familiarize yourselves with the 3-3-3 rule for rescue dogs beforehand, so you can properly assess my adjustment period. Where can I put my basket forever and go through life as a loyal companion by your side? I am being rehomed through the animal welfare organization SOS Forgotten Paws e.V. with a protection contract and for a protection fee of €550. I am, of course, microchipped, dewormed, and neutered. I am also already registered with Tasso. A suitable and nearly new safety harness with leash will be purchased through our association. This starter kit ensures that I feel safe, secure, and well cared for from the very beginning.
