Stop! Please do not touch me!!! I am not a dog that throws itself around everyone's neck. This is probably due to my past; I still suffer a lot; quick movements or people gesticulating scare me. I am looking for people who will fight for my trust and show me the world in a new, positive way. I can sometimes enjoy being petted by my caregivers, but it will be a difficult and rocky road before I can let go completely. I am looking for patient and understanding people who are loving and consistent. I do not need pity because I want to leave the past behind me. I need structure and rituals because they give me security. Who wants to start into the future with me?
