Nala is a people-friendly dog. She always greets both our caretakers and new volunteers in a friendly and open manner. Nala already knows some basic commands. She still needs a lot of practice with leash manners, as she currently tends to pull on the leash. In her previous home, Nala probably lived with a male dog. At the animal shelter, she initially showed interest and friendliness towards other dogs; however, we haven't yet been able to observe her in direct contact with other dogs. Generally, the dog is rather calm and can also be left alone without any problems. A home with children is conceivable; however, they should be steady on their feet and have an understanding of animals and be able to respect their boundaries. To our knowledge, Nala is not familiar with small animals or cats. However, due to the characteristics inherent in her breed, we recommend not leaving Nala unsupervised with them. Nala has passed the temperament test and, according to police regulations, is classified as a dangerous dog in most German states and is therefore subject to corresponding restrictions and permit requirements.
