Looking for very special cat lovers for our special needs cats
Ela the female cat and Mau the male cat (estimated to be two to three years old) are a pair who get along well. Both have been roamed and bear the marks of the streets.
The pretty dark tabby Ela apparently had an "accident" in which she injured her eye. It is cloudy, and she probably won't be able to see much anymore. However, the injury has long since healed, and no further treatment is necessary. She copes well with this impairment.
Ela is somewhat reserved and a little afraid of people.
Mau is a very, very sociable male cat, and he loves people he knows.
The male cat needs medication for his sporadic eosinophilic granuloma.
Administering the tablets is easy in a cat treat. He needs hypoallergenic wet/dry food; Ela eats it too. The two cats are rather calm and enjoy playing together – especially with a ball, chasing it all over the room. We are looking for generous, loving people who can understand and adapt to these two cats with their health issues and give them time to settle in. A quiet household without children would be ideal for the pair. Due to their limitations, they should only be placed in an indoor home with a screened balcony; safe outdoor access would be perfect. Is there a needle in a haystack for this pair of cats? They currently live in 47495 Rheinberg.
