Dobby

I'm Dobby

... and I was seized for animal welfare reasons. Now I'm hoping for a loving, dog-experienced forever home.

Would you like to know more about me?

I'm a big, strong guy and I still like to pull on the leash – but at the same time, I'm very playful and cuddly. I bark at strangers at first, but I usually warm up quickly. I know the basic commands. Currently, I have to wear a muzzle and be kept on a leash because I supposedly bit another dog. However, I get along well with suitable dogs, depending on whether they like each other.

I need people who can keep me secure and give me clear, fair guidance. Leash training, socialization exercises, and calm commands are at the top of my list. With consistent positive training and good management (muzzle in critical situations, structured dog encounters), I will quickly become eager to learn and cooperative. I love being close to my people – I absolutely adore cuddle time. I wish for… a stable, dog-experienced home that reliably implements muzzle and safety management. Due to my size, a ground-floor home or one with an elevator would be ideal. Whether I live as the only pet or with a suitable canine companion – we'll decide that when we meet. If you combine strength with heart and structure, you'll get a loving, playful companion in me. May I cuddle with you in the future?
