Hello, I'm Nala. 🖤
One day, I wandered into the yard of my current foster home while they were at work. Something told me I would find help there – and luckily, I was right.
Now I'm safe and can finally rest. At first, of course, everything was strange and a little scary. New people, new sounds, a new environment... I needed some time to adjust. But I've realized that my foster mom means well. Meanwhile, I let her pet me and enjoy the quiet moments with her.
I'm no longer a wild jumper, but a sweet, calm cat lady who appreciates a relaxed life. I especially like to lie on my scratching post and calmly observe what's happening around me. I'm still cautious about some things, but with patience and loving people, I'm thawing out more and more. At my foster home, I've also met dogs and know that they can be part of my everyday life. 🐶 It's becoming clear that I get along well with them too. I also have the option of going outside here. At the moment, however, I'm more of a curious observer: I occasionally glance outside with interest, but currently I don't have any real interest in spending extended periods of time outdoors. Perhaps that will develop over time – or perhaps I'll remain the cozy cat lady who appreciates her safe and favorite spots indoors. 🖤
For my new home, I wish for people who will give me time to settle in and won't pressure me. A quiet household would be just right for me. Since I'm familiar with the possibility of going outside, this should also be available in my new home. I can decide whether and when I want to use it entirely at my own pace. Of course, a quiet residential area would be important so that I could safely take my little excursions if I ever develop a taste for it.
If you would like to share your home with a gentle, loving, and beautiful black lady cat, then I look forward to meeting you. Perhaps I will soon find my happiness on your sofa – or even better, on my new scratching post.
Yours, Nala 🖤🐾
