Mama Bean wants her chance now, too. Her babies have all recently left for their new homes, and now it's her turn! The family was rescued from a truck stop last year and has been in our foster care ever since. Bohne, in particular, was very reserved and fearful at first and showed no interest in human contact. However, she has made surprisingly rapid progress in recent weeks. She is now very curious and interested in cautious interaction. She even eats treats from your hand. She still doesn't like to be touched, but with enough patience and time, that will surely be possible. What would certainly help her is having another cat in her new home who is friendly towards people. She currently lives with a tame male companion who could also move to her new home. After a suitable settling-in period, she would certainly enjoy having access to the outdoors in quiet traffic conditions. A secure balcony would be a must for keeping Bohne indoors.
Who would like to give Bohne a chance and give her their heart?
