Unsere Elisa ist seit Mai bei uns im Tierheim und hat in der Zeit schon ihre Kitten liebevoll großgezogen. Die Kleinen können schon ihre eigenen Wege gehen und Mama Elisa lebt sich nun langsam allein im Tierheimalltag ein. Sie ist anfangs noch etwas schüchtern und braucht ein bisschen Zeit zum auftauen, ist dann aber wirklich lieb. Im Umgang mit anderen Katzen zeigt sie sich, je nach Sympathie, in der Regel unkompliziert. Wir suchen für sie ein geduldiges und liebevolles Zuhause, in dem sie sich in aller Ruhe einleben darf. Dann wird unser Rohdiamant ganz sicher zu einer Traumkatze. (Sallys Alter ist leider unbekannt)

The little ones can already go their own way and mom Elisa is now slowly settling into everyday life in the animal shelter on her own. She is a bit shy at first and needs a bit of time to warm up, but then she is really sweet. When dealing with other cats, she is usually easy-going, depending on how well she likes them. We are looking for a patient and loving home for her where she can settle in in peace. Then our rough diamond will definitely become a dream cat. (Sally's age is unfortunately unknown)

Samuel &amp; Milkyway sind zwei liebe und verschmuste Kater, wobei Milkyway am Anfang erst noch etwas zurückhaltend ist aber er taut schnell auf. Die Beiden können auch einzeln vermittelt werden. Sie wurden erst bei uns im Tierheim zusammengesetzt. Weil sich die Beiden aber super verstehen, wäre es auch schön, wenn sie ein gemeinsames Zuhause finden würden.

Samuel & Milkyway are two sweet and cuddly cats, although Milkyway is a little reserved at first but he quickly warms up. The two can also be rehomed individually. They were first brought together at our animal shelter. But because the two get on really well, it would be nice if they could find a home together.

Nancy und Lukas sind ein schüchternes Duo dass seit Ende Juli 2024 bei uns ist. Aktuell sind die Beiden mit der neuen Situation noch etwas überfordert und sehnen sich nach einem ruhigen Zuhause, um ankommen zu können. Im Umgang sind Nancy und Lukas trotz ihrer Skepsis Menschen gegenüber immer lieb. Wir würden die Beiden nur sehr ungern trennen und suchen daher ein gemeinsames Zuhause bei Katzenkennern, die ausreichend Geduld und Verständnis mitbringen, um den Beiden die Scheu zu nehmen.

Nancy and Lukas are a shy duo that have been with us since the end of July 2024. At the moment, the two are still a bit overwhelmed with the new situation and are longing for a quiet home in which to settle in. Despite their skepticism towards people, Nancy and Lukas are always kind to people. We would be very reluctant to separate the two and are therefore looking for a home together with cat experts who have enough patience and understanding to help them overcome their shyness.

Hallo, ich bin Carla … ein ganz tolles Hundemädchen! Ich bin gutmütig, im Tierheim aber so unglücklich! Mein vorheriger Mensch hat mich im Stich gelassen und ich verstehe einfach nicht, warum. Bitte hol mich doch schnell wieder ab. Ich bin noch eine recht junge, gesunde Hündin und wünsche mir so sehr ein schönes Hundeleben außerhalb des Tierheims! Möchtest du noch mehr über mich wissen? Ich mag … Futter. Das ist super zum Trainieren und Belohnen &#8211; so können wir prima miteinander arbeiten. Allerdings bin ich Allergikerin &#8211; dazu berät dich mein Pflege-Team natürlich gern. Ich mag keine … Kinder. Auf die verzichte ich lieber – sie sind mir oft zu laut und hektisch. Das stresst mich. Andere Hunde mag ich hier im Tierheim bisher auch nicht so recht. Vielleicht darf ich ja Einzelprinzessin sein? Ich kann schon … die Grundkommandos und bin stubenrein. Ich kann noch nicht so gut &#8230; ruhig an der Leine laufen. Ich bin im Moment aber einfach auch zu gestresst und unglücklich mit der Situation, Außenreize machen mir momentan ganz schön zu schaffen und da reagiere ich dann auf alles. Ich bin auch eher ein bisschen unsicher. Toll wäre, wenn wir gemeinsam daran arbeiten. Ich wünsche mir … ein tolles neues Zuhause bei hundeerfahrenen, gern rasseerfahrenen Menschen in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Vielleicht ja bei dir oder euch? Möchtest du mich kennenlernen? Hello, I'm Carla ... a really great dog girl! I'm good-natured, but so unhappy in the animal shelter! My previous owner let me down and I just don't understand why. Please come and pick me up again as soon as possible. I'm still a pretty young, healthy dog and I really want a nice dog life outside of the animal shelter! Would you like to know more about me? I like... food. It's great for training and rewarding - so we can work well together. However, I'm allergic - my care team will of course be happy to advise you on that. I don't like... children. I'd rather do without them - they're often too loud and hectic for me. That stresses me out. I don't really like other dogs here in the animal shelter either. Maybe I can be the only princess? I already know … the basic commands and am house trained. I can't walk calmly on a leash that well yet. At the moment I'm just too stressed and unhappy with the situation. External stimuli are really bothering me at the moment and I react to everything. I'm also a bit insecure. It would be great if we could work on this together. Berliner Tierheim, Hausvaterweg 39, Lichtenberg, Germany

Mit einer Fläche von 16 Hektar ist das Tierheim Berlin so groß wie 22 Fußballfelder. Es gibt vier große Katzenhäuser, sechs große Hundehäuser, ein Kleintierhaus, ein Vogelhaus sowie ein großes Gehege für freilebende Katzen. Hinzu kommt der Tierschutz-Bauernhof für sogenannte Nutztiere wie Schweine, Ziegen, Schafe, Gänse und Hühner sowie eine Exotenstation für Reptilien, Affen und andere exotische Tiere.

Darüber hinaus verfügt das Tierheim Berlin über eine eigene Tierarztpraxis mit moderner Einrichtung, eine Katzennotstation, ein Haus für verletzte Wasservögel sowie einen modern ausgestatteten Veranstaltungssaal, der für Veranstaltungen gemietet werden kann. Am Rande des Tierheims befinden sich außerdem ein Tierfriedhof sowie ein großes Hundeauslaufgebiet mit Spielmöglichkeiten.

With an area of 16 hectares, the Berlin animal shelter is the size of 22 football fields. There are four large cat houses, six large dog houses, a small animal house, a bird house and a large enclosure for free-living cats. There is also an animal welfare farm for so-called farm animals such as pigs, goats, sheep, geese and chickens, as well as an exotic animal station for reptiles, monkeys and other exotic animals.

The Berlin animal shelter also has its own veterinary practice with modern facilities, a cat emergency station, a house for injured water birds and a modern event hall that can be rented for events. On the edge of the animal shelter there is also an animal cemetery and a large dog run with play opportunities.
